Education Administration is a broad career path that offers various job opportunities with different responsibilities and pays structures. You will be in the middle of the education industry, making a difference in the children that are the nation’s future. Nothing can be more self-satisfying than knowing that the next president may come from one of the classes or programs you kept in control throughout the years.

First up is one of the most sensitive areas of the industry, but one of the most important. A paraeducator is a person that assists children with special needs to make sure that they have the tools that they need to succeed in class and life. They work directly under a licensed teacher, aligning their plans with yours.

This position is responsible for recruiting future students to come to their schools after they finish high school. You would be the person going around to the national career fairs, answering questions, and helping the students fill out applications. On campus, you will conduct campus tours and work with the university administration to decide who they accept for the next semester and who they pass on to another school.

Depending on the area that you will be working in, you will be overseeing the performance and productivity of the students, maximizing student experience, hiring and tenure, and anything else that the administration would be required to do. Get a Masters in Educational Administration, and you can go all the way to the top by climbing the ladder of success.

Preschool Director

This position has a substantial amount of responsibilities. Still, it is a career that can give you some serious self-satisfaction. You would be responsible for ensuring the school follows the legal requirements and offers a curriculum that aligns with the federal demands. You would also be responsible for collecting payments from students’ parents, handling bank accounts and deposits, forming a budget, and ensuring the location follows it. You would be in charge of ordering materials and supplies that the school needs for the year.

This is one of the top paths you can follow. In this position, you would evaluate the school programs to ensure they comply with local and federal regulations. They can build curriculums or modify the current ones. Plus, you would be traveling to seminars where you would pitch the importance of new educational and development trends. This means that you would also need to be knowledgeable about all the latest technology and items coming out that could affect your industry today and in the future.

This is a very short list when discussing the career paths that will open up when you gain a degree in Educational Administration. You will quickly become one of the people in your community that people look up to and the one they go to when problems need to be fixed or their children need extra help.

The higher that you go up the ladder, the more the people will depend upon you to guide their children in the direction that they need to go. It is a career full of drama, hardships, and heartbreak. But, it is an industry that offers extreme amounts of self-worth and gratification.
